Voyage to Vis
We didn't have ideal summer weather for all of our Yacht Week. The first few days were scattered with cloudy skies and choppy waves. But by the end of the week, the summer weather really came out and delivered for us.
When the wind is strong, then you know it's going to be good weather for sailing. But when there is no wind … in that case, it's the perfect weather for a circle raft party!
The circle raft begins like any other raft - with a row of yachts tied up neatly next to each other.
Then it's up to the skippers to do some serious rope throwing, anchor dropping and knot tying to loop all the boats securely together in a circle.
Our handsome skipper Danny took charge on the day, zooming around on the dinghy trying to organise a dozen boats of party animals.
We sent in the other boys to help.
While the rest of us ladies relaxed on the boat with a few refreshments.
We didn't quite make a full circle in the end, but it didn't matter as everybody was ready to jump inside for a pool party.
And Danny got his well-deserved beer.

When the water started getting choppy again, it was time to wrap up the party. But suffice to say, we made the most of every minute of it!
And then we sailed our way to nearby Vis.
Our boat may have been called Knot So Fast, but we sure were fast to find a prime spot on the port at Vis.
That evening, our crew went out for dinner at Lola Konoba. It's a beautiful restaurant set in a little garden courtyard in the Old Town of Vis.
We feasted on Dalmatian dishes as we debriefed about the amazing holiday we were having.
There was lots of wine and seafood ...
But I reckon Lucy's steak was the best of the lot.
The best part was, the night didn't end here. After this rather special dinner, we joined the rest of the Yacht Weekers for one hell of a party at Fort George.
It was a day that just kept getting better and better. They really live up to what they say about this week - it's nothing like the real world!
