A Byron Summer
I didn't choose the glamping life, the glamping life chose me.
Just kidding! Talysa and I would have beaten old ladies with a stick to stay in a cute Flashcamp teepee in Byron Bay for the summer. As it turns out, old ladies wouldn't like glamping anyway because tents (glamping or otherwise) are very HOT to live in during 32 degree heat. Something to keep in mind which isn't displayed on all the Insta-worthy glamping posts!
Notwithstanding the scorching December temperatures, we loved the fairylights that guided us around the campsite, gazing up into the clear starry night, and campfire cocktails at Harvest's pop up restaurant.
My INSEAD flatmate (and now life coach) Anne was visiting Australia, so we took her to all our favourite places around Byron. Folk for breakfast, The Farm for lunch, and Harvest for dinner - with lots of beach time in between. Needless to say, she came as a tourist and left as a local!
