Honfleur

After Etretat, Talysa and I drove further east to the seaside town of Honfleur. It was as quaint and as picturesque as everyone had hyped it up to be!

On this beautiful summer's day, tourists and locals alike were all out soaking up the sunshine. We wandered along the dockside and around town in search for the best moules frites. Because if there is one thing that you must have in this part of the world - it's gotta be fresh mussels and French fries. A crisp white wine won't go astray either.

After only a few hours here, it was time to drive back to Paris. I've been so happy to have Talysa visit and do this northern road trip with me. MBA life and new friends are great and all, but you gotta love a friend who flies across the world last minute to do an impromptu road trip with you. And to go shopping in Paris with you, which is exactly what we did.
